The festival kicks off on January 9 with the Opening Salvo at the Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño and the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC). Highlights include the city-wide dance competition Sinulog sa Dakbayan on January 10, the Walk with Mary on January 15, the Festival Queen Coronation and Dance Crew Showdown on January 16, the Fluvial Procession and Fireworks on January 17, and the grand parade and finale on January 18.
