In the astrology signs, people born in August under the auspicious sign of Leo are an embodiment of beauty and elegance.
Cagayan de Oro’s newest overlooking spot just hit the road and is about to sweep the masses with its Instagrammable spot. August Café and Restaurant recently opened but will already astound us with the beauty and elegance it embodies.
Exterior and Interior that Doesn’t Miss the Classics of Luxury
The exterior of the place serves fresh looks with an air that even blows subtly, the air and atmosphere it surrounds itself is elegant and can be seen all over the place. It features a neatly trimmed landscape of grasses. This restaurant doesn’t miss a single spot when landscaping the whole area, it includes the area of the roof deck of the restaurant. Another highlight of the place’s exterior is the flowing staircase attached to the exterior of the dining area, it flaunts its smooth curve while ascending to the skies.
A new café and restaurant, it has both indoor and al fresco dining areas. When you enter their indoor dining area, neutral earth tones will warmly greet you. A huge weaved ornamental fixture lights up the whole dining area, a classic among luxurious restaurants in the Philippines. A natural light completes the lighting of the area and the mood reflecting from the large transparent windows.
August Café and Restaurant: Built with Careful Meticulosity
From their menu, you can conclude the careful meticulosity of this restaurant. When serving its branded offers, they don’t miss a spot. Aside from the uniformed landscape of greeneries, they don’t only serve luxury and elegance with their appearance.
Their menu resembles that of a classic steakhouse from the west. In their café menu, they serve coffee and other drinks. The highlight is their unique refresher, Passionfruit Ade. It is made from pure passionfruit from tropical America with sparkling water and lemon rinds.
They serve pancakes, a staple in a western pancake is blueberries and cinnamon apple sauce you can’t miss. Waffles with August’s take on PB&J are still made from berries but with dark chocolates and almonds.
No need to search high and low when looking for a place that is unique from Cagayan de Oro. August Café and Restaurant serves a combination of an overlooking place with Tagaytay feels and a menu that will take you to the other side of the globe, to the west. Keep an eye on the budding spots here in our country especially when there is still a lot to discover in the long terrain of Mindanao.
