They say that a feedback is a gift, which is undeniably true. However, what do you call a compliment then? A blessing? Yes.

To what was thought to be a negative feedback, Mechelle Centurias, manager of Jollibee Country Mall branch in Cebu City cried after receiving a heartwarming message from one of their lovely customers.

Centurias posted on Facebook: “I thought it was feedback from a dissatisfied customer but it wasn’t. It was a different “thank you” message from someone who had his last Jollibee meal before his Chemotherapy for stage 4 cancer. He was sharing that his doctor gave him 3 months to live.”

She continued how this message did hit her to her core.

“I couldn’t hold my tears when I read this. One of our guests at Jollibee left this note at the back of his receipt. After silently eating at one corner of the store, he cleaned up his table, brought the tray to the claim area, and left. Our dining crew saw the note written on his receipt and gave it to me,” she explained. “With a heavy heart, I immediately took the chance to look for the customer at the dining area but I was told he just left. I lost the chance of speaking to him and to give him thanks and encouragement.”

Though the sad fact that Centurias was not able to meet this brave soul, she still left her words of encouragement.

Being able to eat his last favorite Jollibee meal is definitely something worth sharing. This doesn’t only go to the brave fighter, but to everyone who are silently fighting their own battles. Continue to thrive and survive. We are all rooting for you!

To those who are wondering what the message says, it goes: “My Jollibee. Thank you sa 32 years. Karon akong last kaon nimo kay starting ugma, mag sugod na akong chemotherapy. Na koy stage 4 cancer. My doctor said that I have 3 months na lang. Once again, thank you my Jollibee. Until my next life. Aylabyu my Jollibee.”
