Philippine’s bet Samela Aubrey Godin was crowned as Miss Culture International (MCI) 2021. The pageant was held in South Africa on December 5, 2021.

Miss Culture International is a pageant that has a platform to showcase beauty and fashion talent internationally. Their vision is to focus on bringing women of diverse cultures to learn from each other and discover common ground on creating an agenda to change.

Despite winning the first-ever crown for the Philippines in the MCI, Samela isn’t only just beauty and brains, but a beauty queen with a heart to serve the people.

Let’s get to know our new queen.

Samela, 23, is a licensed professional teacher from Samar, an event coordinator, and a businesswoman. She is also a Special Education (SPED) teacher with a passion to serve children with special needs.

Not only does she have the passion to help those in need, but is also an advocate for women’s empowerment.

Samela is not new to the pageant world as she holds various pageant titles. The following titles are:

  • Mutya han Jiabong Samar 2012
  • Lakambini 2013
  • OLFU Eco Queen 2016
  • Binibining Quezon City 2019

Aside from winning in local beauty pageants, she was also one of the top 24 candidates of Miss World Philippines 2021.

Now that is one strong queen! Congratulations, Sam!
