As of December 2021, the Ozamiz Mega Arena is already in the phase of excavation and column works. The said Arena is located within a 22-hectare area in Sition Giraog, Kinuman Norte, Ozamiz City.
Once the said arena will finish its construction it will be named as the largest fully air-conditioned indoor sports facility in Northern Mindanao, that is said to accommodate more than 15,000 individuals.
The said project is expected to be completed in the year 2022. The Mega Arena started its phase one of construction last year with a starting budget of P250 million.
