After going through a long and windy ride with sugar cane on its side, you will pass the Twin River and meet Murcia-Bago Boundary via a small bridge. You will then arrive at Mailum, Bago, which features vast green fields on the side and enter Balaan Hills.

From its name, “Balaan,” meaning “Holy”, features a 4-hectare sanctuary of holy pilgrimage that will warmly welcome you featuring Christ’s station of cross – Jesus Christ’s story from his birth in the living realm up until his resurrection and ascending in heaven to save humankind from the perils of sin.

This pilgrimage radiates serenity at its finest. Its quiet place is perfect for its solemnity and soliloquy. It also features a Divine Mercy Monument and a souvenir shop where tourists can shop for religious relics.

An hour away from Bacolod, this place is not only perfect for devotees but also for all people from all walks of life.
