The summer capital of Negros Oriental can be found in the mountains of Don Salvador Benedicto (DSB). Many tourists are plying the slopes of the hill because it is known for its cool weather and bountiful places to visit.
Since this is an uphill area, you can’t help but find places to eat. The good news is that DSB doesn’t fall short on the list when offering beautiful places to eat, also. They don’t simply offer guests a place to dine since it is a renowned tourist hub.
Among the list is Terraza Café which offers a picturesque area for a photo shoot with the mountains of DSB as a backdrop. It features a forest area with plenty of frames to choose from. Like you can choose a heart-shaped or rounded frame made of dried leaves. An added attraction to this area is their love lock area at the infinity bridge.
The café offers a separate viewing deck. While you enjoy the mountain view, you can enjoy native Filipino cuisine. You can avail of their breakfast meals when you are up for an early morning trip at DSB.
You can choose whether to pair it with what we usually take in the morning, a cup of coffee; ice cold with some juice or go healthy with a shake.
Terraza has specialized items on its menu like pizza, for example. It is perfect to pair with some nachos or you can pair it with some quesadillas for a fuller meal.
Don Salvador Benedicto is well-deserved for its epithet. It continues to dish out attractive places not only viewing decks. This is a sure reason why you should visit DSB.

HOW TO GET THERE?
Exact location: Brgy. Kumaliskis, Don Salvador Benedicto 6129 Murcia, Philippines
DIRECTIONS: The café is just along the highway, on the left side right after you pass Don Salvador Benedicto Municipal Hall. The municipal hall is before Jomax Peak.
BY BUS: You can take a 1-hour Ceres Ride, just tell them to drop you at Terraza Café.
BY CAR: Navigate with Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Terraza Café” at Don Salvador Benedicto (DSB), Murcia. Parking space is available.
