Exact location: Purok 5, Barangay Bagumbayan, Pilar, Bohol

BY BUS: If you are from Manila, take a flight bound for Bohol. If from Cebu, Oceanjet travels daily to Bohol. Once in Tagbilaran City, head to the integrated bus station located in Dao and hop on a bus bound for Pilar. Travel time is around 2 hours. Once in Pilar, you can hire a tricycle or habal-habal to take you to Jardin Necitas.

2. The Alicia Panoramic Park

BY BUS/ COMMUTE: You can catch a bus from Dao Integrated Bus Terminal in Tagbilaran bound for the Municipality Hall of Alicia. The bus ride is estimated to be around three hours.

From the municipality, you can opt for a motorcycle or habal-habal to take you to the foothills of the park. For convenience and traveling in large groups, you can rent private vehicles.

3. Guitarwoodhouse Music Restobar

This resto-bar is ideal for enjoying superb cuisine, excellent music, and good company. The food is delicious, the drinks are flowing, and the music is always on point.

HOW TO GET THERE?

Exact Location: Daorong, Danao, Panglao, Bohol

BY BUS/ COMMUTE: Take a Ceres bus heading to Panglao from DAO Integrated Bus Terminal. Tell the driver you are dropping off at Dianne’s Bakeshop. You can see the signage from there and follow the lead.

BY CAR: You can navigate through Google Maps. Just input “Guitar Woodhouse.”

4. Bamboo Park

This park is a beautiful spot to unwind and escape the daily rush and bustle. The bamboo trees are soothing, the flowers are lovely, and the park is illuminated with multicolored lights at night.

The rows of artificial but lovely flowers are Bamboo Park’s hallmark feature. These synthetic sunflowers and anthurium shoots are white in the daytime but shift color in the evening. When the sun shines, the park is awash in bright green colors. Tall trees and low shrubs frame your view, and vibrant greenery surrounds you. You’ll have a pleasant experience at Bamboo Park whether you visit during the day to sit in the shade or at night to take in the forest’s peace.
