Continue driving until you reach Barangay Lanawan. From there, you can hike to the entrance of the park where you’ll be welcomed by the locals.

So, head to Lantawan Nature Park now, where breathtaking views await – including a chance to see Leyte’s legendary giant bats! Although tempting: Let’s be responsible laagans and refrain from touching the bats as per the directive of Leyte’s local government unit to help preserve the delicate balance of their ecosystem.
