Basakan Spring Resort is an escape for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Its karst spring forms the core of the resort, boasting crystal-clear blue water rich in limestone minerals. The Legend Behind the Waters

Local folklore adds a mystical charm to Basakan Spring. The story tells of Binay, a maiden whose forbidden love ended in tragedy. Heartbroken, she was taken by Mother Nature, and from her resting place, the spring burst forth. Locals say her tears continue to feed the spring to this day, giving the water a touch of timeless magic and the town its name.
