Located along the coastline of Zamboanga Del Norte, Dapitan City, Bitoon Beach is a hidden paradise that’s finally stepping into the spotlight. Once known only to locals and brave beachgoers willing to paddle their way across, this quiet seaside gem is now accessible by road, making it a rising destination for those in search of nature’s quiet beauty.
From Sea Access to Scenic Road Trips
Before the road network was developed, the only way to reach Bitoon Beach was by small boat from Pulauan Port in Barangay San Vicente or via the coast of Sicayab Bucana. Today, newly built and improved roads have changed the game. With a motorbike or a quick drive, you can reach Bitoon without breaking a sweat. It’s now a go-to location for spontaneous road trips and peaceful beach days.
Raw, Quiet, and Unfiltered
Unlike commercialized beaches filled with shops and resorts, Bitoon Beach is minimalistic and pristine. The sand is soft and white with parts of the coast that have amazing rocks where you can sit and relax, and the waters are clear, calm, and inviting. With no resorts or loud attractions in sight, it offers a tranquil space perfect for swimming, relaxing, or having a picnic with friends or family.
It’s a spot where you can truly unwind, away from the busyness of the city. Bring your food, spread out a beach mat, and enjoy a full day in a place where nature takes center stage.
