How To Get There?
Location: Barangay Tigpalay, Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay, Mindanao, Philippines
- By Car: From Zamboanga City, drive to Tungawan via the Zamboanga City to Ipil Road. The journey takes about 2 to 3 hours depending on the traffic and road conditions. Once in Tungawan, follow local directions to Barangay Tigpalay. The access road to the falls is currently under development. Upon reaching the jump off point, a short hike will lead you to the falls.
- By Commute: From Zamboanga City, take a bus or a van heading to Ipil or Tungawan. The travel time is approximately 4 to 5 hours depending on the route or traffic stops. Once in Tungawan, take a habal-habal to take you to Barangay Tigpalay. The habal-habal ride is about 30 t0 45 minutes depending on the road conditions. After reaching the jump off point, a brief hike will bring you to Tigapalay Falls. It is advised to ask locals for directions.
