Cebu City gears up for Sinulog 2026, a festival that blends devotion, culture, and celebration. From December 27, 2025, to January 31, 2026, the city will host a series of events honoring the Santo Niño. Millions of devotees and visitors are expected to join in colorful street dancing, cultural shows, and religious activities.

Suroy Niño Tour

The festival begins with the Suroy Niño, a series of hospital and jail visits across the city. From January 3 to 7, 2026, the Santo Niño will be carried to medical centers and correctional facilities in both north and south Cebu. This tradition spreads blessings to communities and those in need.
Novena Masses and Walk With Jesus

Daily Novena Masses take place at the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño from January 8 to 16, starting early morning and continuing into the evening. The Walk With Jesus, beginning on January 8, allows devotees to join in processions from Fuente Osmeña Circle to the Basilica, deepening the spiritual experience of the festival.
Cultural Shows and Competitions

Sinulog 2026 features multiple cultural presentations, dance competitions, and music events. From January 9 to 16, participants showcase talent at venues including Fuente Osmeña Circle, Plaza Independencia, and the Cebu City Sports Center. Highlights include the Sinulog Idol eliminations, festival queen runway contests, and battle of the bands performances.
Misa de Translacion and Devotee City

On January 15–17, the Misa de Translacion marks the movement of the Santo Niño image to nearby parishes. Devotee City opens at Plaza Independencia, offering interactive booths, displays, and performances. These events allow visitors to immerse in Cebuano faith and culture.
Grand Parade and Fiesta Day

The Grand Parade occurrs on January 18, 2026, at the Cebu City Sports Center. Street dancers, performers, and cultural groups bring the city alive in a spectacle of color, rhythm, and devotion. The day also features the Fiesta Day Mass and the grand finale of Sinulog performances, uniting faith and celebration.
Awards and Closing Events

Following the parade, the festival continues with awarding ceremonies for street dancing and ritual competitions on January 19. Regular Masses and heritage events continue throughout the month, keeping the spirit of Sinulog alive until January 31.
Tickets and Attendance

Tickets for the Grand Parade went on sale online last December 22, 2025. General Admission prices are ₱1,000 (Yellow) and ₱1,500 (Green). Early purchase is advised due to limited seating, ensuring a place in the city’s most awaited cultural and religious celebration.
