Jump into the gem-like jade waters of Kansalakan!

Kansalakan Enchanted River is Negros Oriental’s answer to the deep sapphire waters of Hinatuan in Surigao del Sur.

Located between Banwague and Balogo and directly west of the Guihulngan City Hall, this natural formation is a truly admirable wonder.

The river is a narrow stretch of freshwater cutting through the verdant terrain. The river itself is narrow, and snakes between mounds of rock and soil. It’s as if the waters wore the land down to create this deep crevice – an impressive sight to behold!

One might think this gem is tucked away in forest somewhere, but it’s actually just along the road! The best and most picturesque area of the enchanted river can be found a few meters from the Guihulngan – Isabela – Hinigaran Road.

Without trekking for hours, you can visit and almost immediately witness the deep river with its small cascades of water and its signature circular rock holes. Its most prominent feature is a deep circular basin christened as “The Eye”.
