On Tuesday, July 21, Governor Arthur Yap said that the entire province of Bohol might again be placed under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ). Elsenot, a more strict quarantine level amid the rising number of community-transmitted cases in the whole island.

Six community transmissions have been recorded in a span of four days, according to guv.
In the past four months, most of the province’s confirmed cases were locally stranded individuals (LSIs). However, this new community transmission has caused the governor some concerns, he admitted.
Tomorrow, July 22, guv will be meeting the mayors after thr observance of the Bohol Day. This meeting is to discuss the possibility of re-implementing a more stringent community quarantine in the island.
Since July, the whole province of Bohol has been placed under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) – the least restrictive level of quarantine.
Based on data from the Bohol Inter-Agency Task Force (BIATF), the province has recorded 70 confirmed COVID-19 cases—23 active, 44 recoveries and three deaths.
