Through the national government’s “Tulong Eskwela Program,” more than thousands of parents of senior high school students received their financial aid to support their children’s education.

Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu, Argao, and many more districts and barangays were able to distribute the financial aid; and in varying amounts depending on the payout system. In Mandaue, 1,200 parents received Php 3,000.00 each while in 1,124 beneficiaries received the payout amount of PhP5,716,664.00 (wage, GPAI, PPE), according to the post shared by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Rehiyon Siete.

With the “Tulong Eskwela Program,” parents in need will be able to get startup support to alleviate the financial burden of education costs, ensuring that their children or the students of Mandaue, can focus on their studies without the stress of economic constraints.
