Every idea starts with a small seed; and then that seed grows to expand its roots.

We all know Sugbo.ph has gained popularity for promoting countless tourist attractions and businesses throughout Cebu province. But as we were sitting in our office, racking our brains out, it all came to us: doesn’t Cebu seem, let’s be honest, small?

The Philippines spans over 300,000 square kilometers, yet Cebu accounts for just 1%, if not less. Who knows how many attractions Cebu could take until it reached its limit. What if one day when we run out of new places to discover and showcase?

With that in mind, we thought that it’s high time to expand our reach; thus, Vismin.ph was born.

Vismin.ph not only promotes the wonders of Cebu, but for all around Visayas and Mindanao. Through the platform, we were able to showcase the hidden gems, cultural treasures, and natural wonders across both regions, broadening the horizon for both locals and tourists seeking new adventures.

Arguably best to visit during the summer/dry season, the Hills are a geographical formation of around 1,260+ hills that look like chocolate truffles sticking out of the landscape itself, hence the name!

DAHICAN SURF RESORT

Photo by Hanna Jane Mc’Slow Antiza

Dahican Surf Resort is a famous destination among surfers and skimboarders because of the scenic beach and the exciting waves that give just the right amount of adrenaline. As a beach destination, Dahican Surf Resort passes as an above average beach destination so surf boards aren’t the only way to enjoy its pristine waters. The word “Dahican” comes from the word “Dahik” which is a local word used to describe the act of coming in from the sea to nest which perfectly describes surfers coming in after surfing. Serene getaways hide at the end of the long beach in the form of secluded resorts that are perfect for appreciating the views of the sea.

More than just being a beach resort that attracts tourists, Dahican Surf Resort also acts as a shelter for endangered marine turtles under the Republic Act No. 9147. Animal-lovers will be excited to witness sea turtles coming in from the sea and onto the sandy shores.
