One of the biggest artistic celebrations in the Philippines will be brought to Negros by the Cultural Center of the Philippines this coming February.
A Festival In Nine Locations Around the Philippines
This year’s Pasinaya Festival is one of a kind as it will be held in not one but nine cities all at once! The locations include CCP Complex, Circuit Makati, Metropolitan Theater, Batangas, City of Tagum, Clark Development Corporation, Himamaylan City, Iloilo City, and in Sorsogon City.
What to Expect In Pasinaya?
Happening this coming February 1 and 2, 2025, the Pasinaya Festival will be launched with the festival jingle called, “Sulong Pasinaya.” And in the next hours from the opening, there will be various events grouped in different categories:
Palabas
Performing arts presentations will lead the way for the festival as various organizations will be staging their own masterpieces, be it a musical theater play, visual arts presentation, dance, and many more.
Palihan
The festival will also provide opportunities for the attendees to learn new things and share their own knowledge and skills through the different workshops offered.
Palitan
The term “palitan” means “exchange,” which is a portion of the event where organizations can meet, make new relationships, and foster camaraderie in the field of arts.
Pamilihan
A marketplace filled with artworks, merchandise, beverage, and food items will be sold during the festival.
Pagtitipon
Of course, the event will not be complete without a meet and greet opportunity with artists renowned throughout the country and even internationally.
Paseo Museo
Museum tours will also be offered for attendees and guests in order to let everyone get immersed by the place’s culture and history.
