Welcome to PAGASA Mactan: Where Science Meets Wonder
Are you ready to venture into a world where science meets pure wonder? Welcome to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration—better known as PAGASA Mactan. This initiative aims to ignite the curiosity of students and educate the general public in science and astronomy—knowledge essential for the advancement of the region.

The Planetarium Experience
The planetarium features a high-tech projector that showcases stars, the moon, other celestial objects, and cosmic phenomena typically seen in the night sky. Imagine a place where time slows down and you’re immersed in the magical dance of celestial bodies—a destination where the cosmos becomes not just something to observe, but something to experience.
Please note: Eating and drinking are strictly prohibited inside the dome, and all mobile phones must be set to silent mode.

HOW TO GET THERE?
Exact Location: Mactan Airport Road, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu
- By Taxi or Ride-Sharing: The simplest and most direct option is to take a taxi or use a ride-hailing service like Grab. Just tell the driver you’re headed to the Pag-asa Planetarium in Lapu-Lapu City. Depending on traffic, the journey can take approximately 15–20 minutes.
- By Ferry: Alternatively, if you prefer a scenic ride, you can go to Cebu Pier 3 and catch a ferry to Muelle Osmena Port on Mactan Island. The ferry ride is roughly 20 minutes. After disembarking, you can take a taxi or a local tricycle to complete the trip to Pag-asa Planetarium.
