How To Get There?
Location: Barangay Sinoron, Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur, Philippines
- Via Car: From Davao City, take the Pan-Philippine Highway heading south toward Santa Cruz which usually takes around 1 to 2 hours depending on the traffic. From the town proper, follow the road leading to Barangay Sinoron since it’s the common jump off point for the hike. The road conditions vary with some paved and rough sections so it’s best to use a vehicle that can handle uneven terrain. Parking is usually available near the trailhead where you can also arrange for a guide.
- Via Commute: Take a bus or a van from Davao City’s Ecoland Terminal bound for Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur which costs around ₱100.00 to ₱150.00. It takes about 1 to 2 hours. From Santa Cruz town proper, ride a habal-habal to Barangay Sinoron because it is where the usual jump off. Fares range from ₱100.00 to ₱200.00 per person depending on the negotiation and road conditions. Upon arrival, you can register at the barangay hall and arrange for a local guide to accompany you on the hike.
