Halea Nature Park

Exact Location: Aroroy Masbate City

Halea Nature Park is known for its soft, white sand beaches and clear blue waters. To get there, you can take a flight to Legazpi City in Albay then you can travel by land for 4-5 hours to Aroroy. From Aroroy town proper you can hire a tricycle or motorcycle going to Halea Nature Park.

Ticao Island

Exact Location: San Jacinto, Masbate

Ticao Island offers serene beaches and rich of marine life with Subic Beach being a highlight due to its unique pinkish sand. To reach Ticao Island from Masbate City, you can take a ferry or boat ride, which typically takes 2-3 hours depending on the condition of the sea.

Buntod Sandbar and Reef Marine Sanctuary

Buntod Sandbar emerges during low tide and offers clear water ideals for swimming and snorkelling. You can take a ride from Masbate City to the port area, where boats are available for hire to take you to Buntod Sandbar and Reef Marine Sanctuary.

Palani Beach

Palani Beach is known for its peaceful atmosphere and long, sandy shores. From Masbate City, you can travel to Palanas by bus or van, which takes about 2-3 hours. Once you are in Palanas, any local transport can take you to Palanas Beach.

Burubangkaso Island

The small island located in Masbate City offers clear watts and a nice beach. It is nice for snorkeling and relaxation. To go to Burubangkasao Island, you can hire a boat from the port area in Masbate City. The boat ride usually takes around 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the weather.
