“It’s important for those workers who would like to come and bring their families.”
According to the Minister of Finland, Arto Olavi Sartonin, “For Finland, it’s important for those workers who would like to come bring their families. It’s also possible, and we try to help them find work for their spouses as well. And they can also get their children to Finland and to school if they like it that way,”
Finland seeks skilled workers, hotel and tourism, workers, restaurant staff, IT personnel, and healthcare workers like nursing staff and caregivers.
Finland also values labor equality, just like the local workers of the country, the minimum wage of the overseas workers estimated to reach € 1,600 or ₱96,000 per month and depending on what type of work in the industry. It is also in the agreement of upskilling Filipino Healthcare Workers.
The Secretary of DMW, Hans Cacdac said, “One can come in, let’s say as a caregiver or nurse assistant, and be upgraded from there in Finland so this is something that is also suited to our healthcare demands in our very own country.” The DMW also gave reminders to the public of the fake job orders to avoid being a victim of illegal recruiters.
