At the top, hikers are welcomed by a roadside stop with sari-sari stores offering affordable local snacks, meals, and drinks. These include, but are not limited to: silog, pancit canton, and of course, coffee! Visitors are allowed to bring their own food, but are kindly advised to follow the Clean As You Go policy, to help preserve the trail’s beauty for everybody to enjoy.

How It Got Its Name

Originally private property, the trail gained popularity during the Covid-19 lockdown, and was gradually improved to accommodate the growing number of visitors. Coined during the pandemic, the name is a witty play of words that combine “Starbucks” and “bukid”, the Cebuano word for mountain. Since then, it’s become a favorite spot for many to catch a stunning sunrise or wind down with a peaceful sunset. So whether you’re craving caffeine or a bit of cardio (or both), Starbuk’s is calling!
