Mag-Aso Falls

Located in Sitio Dug-anon, Barangay Oringao, Kabankalan City, Mag-Aso Falls is a 20-minute drive from the city proper and a must-visit for nature lovers. Its twin waterfalls, each about 8 meters high, create a misty “smoke” effect—hence the name “Aso,” meaning smoke in Hiligaynon. The powdery blue waters are perfect for photos and relaxation.

- By Commute: Can take a jeepney from Bacolod City to La Castellana, then hire a habal-habal to the falls.
Malatan-og Falls

Known locally as the Cigarette Falls, Malatan-og Falls in Brgy. Kumaliskis, Don Salvador Benedicto, is a breathtaking 120-foot waterfall surrounded by giant boulders perfect for photos. Trekking to the falls takes around 30–40 minutes depending on your pace, and the cold water offers a refreshing jolt. Sunlight often creates a rainbow over the falls, making it a magical sight.
