Kaamulan Park Malaybalay Zoo & Park: A Whole New World Experience in Bukidnon

For someone who has been to Malaybalay, Bukidnon, I can definitely attest to how cold their weather is, and how warm the people are.

Recently, photos have made rounds on social media because of its unusual sceneries. It’s very rare to see a place in the Philippines that would showcase winter-like photographs. But not until you snap a photo or two of the beauty of Malaybalay, Bukidnon.

From their park to the church, even to their zoo, Malaybalay surely has a lot to offer. But, one has definitely stood out among the rest – Kaamulan Park Malaybalay Zoo & Park.

Apart from wild animals like the tiger and lion, they also house the world’s most dangerous bird; Cassowary. But much more than that, I have always wanted to see a peacock, live. And this zoo made me see one. Breathtaking, I must say.

But more than just feasting your eyes with these animals, you also get to experience happiness while walking with pine trees surrounding you. No, definitely not Baguio.

Kaamulan Park and Zoo features not only a day with the animals, but also a day of new experience. Trust me if I tell you, it’s more than just the animals. It definitely is a whole new experience.

HOW TO GET THERE?

From Cebu, you can take a flight with Cebu Pacific, Air Asia, and the Philippine Airlines as they have regular trips to Laguindingan Airport in Cagayan de Oro City. By the entrance, there are vans and buses to Cagayan de Oro City. Alight in Agora Terminal, and ride in a Van or bus to Malaybalay, Bukidnon.
