Sometimes we just want to relax and be connected with nature once again. Maybe we feel like the city is becoming toxic to our soul and we want a new change of scene once in a while. A solution to that problem is camping, and a good place to do just that if you are in Misamis Oriental or planning on going there is in Balingasag Nature Park.
The park is located in Balagnan, Balingasag, Misamis Oriental and is a perfect site for overnight camping. There, you can sleep amongst the sea of clouds while overlooking the majestic land. Across the horizon you can see the Macajalar Bay and Punta Gorda.
Oftentimes you can be amidst the fog on the park, making it a truly spectacular sight to behold. There is also a sign that welcomes visitors and campers into the park, and it has become one of its iconic structures. If you are planning to camp there, make sure to be prepared for the cold as it can get cold up in the mountains.
